Henpicked are a Kapiti based band of 3 women and one bloke (obviously henpicked), they write fantastic, very NZ songs. This foursome deliver wonderful vocal harmonies and well-thought out arrangements on guitar, keys/accordion, bass and drums. Their music is quirky, soulful, gentle and definitely set in NZ.
Followed by Gumboot Tango - all the way from the Naki. 3 men and one woman (obviously bloke-picked) who have one hell of a good time playing their favourite Kiwi writers essentially rock/folk style on acoustic guitar, upright bass, mandolin and drums with fab vocal harmonies. Theyll also have you dancin in your gumboots, no doubt.
