BlackSandDiva - Nelson Jazz Festival & Soul to the South Tour dates announced
Roll out the jaffas, ToiToi Music presents Jazz/soul fusionists BlackSandDiva bringing their wild west coast groove to the mainland for January summer – from Picton to The Nelson Jazz Festival and over mountains to the mighty rivers – the chameleons of the Northern jazz/funk scene and their eclectic and genre crossing sound go south for the summer before heading back to play home town of Piha beach on Aucklands wild black sand coast.
Armed with a fully packed Volkswagon scooby-doo van and a german sound man equipped with Birkenstocks - the BlackSandDivas got a whole load of soon to be released material to throw at ya as well as songs from their debut album Chameleon - featuring the vocals and songwriting of Aucklands Piha beach songstress Cat Tunks fused with some of the Aucklands top jazz musicians.
