THE DATSUNS HIT NEW ZEALAND February 2010

THE Rama Lama Glam stomp juggernaut that is The Datsuns return to New Zealand this summer. Hitting New Zealand stages for some sonic riff wrenching madness the Datsuns will storm the Eastern shores of Poverty Bay, and Hawkes Bay en route to blast the windy city at the Homegrown festival on February 20th. They then head to The South Island for three shows on the mainland before travelling back to Auckland for the Music In The Parks series. 2009 saw Cambridge’s finest long haired delinquents touring Europe, and an extensive US tour. 2010 will see them prepare for their fifth album.

Auckland sensations Street Chant will open for The Datsuns in Gisborne, Napier, Christchurch & Timaru. Street Chant are opening for Jack White’s Dead Weather in Auckland and on the Dead Weather’s Australian tour dates. Their debut album will be out later this year through Arch Hill Records.
