Josephine Costain Serpentine Tour
Sun Mar 21st, 2010
Doors open: 9:00 pm
Entry: R18
Announcing Josephine Costain's first solo southern tour of New Zealand.
Graham Reid from the NZ Herald described her voice as heavenly, soulful & sensual.
With her electric & acoustic guitars, an assortment of percussion, & loop pedal, Josephine is traveling the country this March visiting smaller NZ towns as well as venues in our main cities. Josephine will play tracks off her EP, Live at St Mathews-in-the-city, as well as new tracks from the upcoming album.
Josephine recently returned from a trip to the USA where she studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music, was co-writing songs in Nashville, & performed live, capturing the hearts of avid listeners in San Francisco & Upstate New York.
In the past she has collaborated with a number of producers, musicians & choreographers including Russel Walder, Nigel Gavin, Epsilon Blue, Edna Katz-Levy, Tom Atkinson, Shinya Asakura, members of Trinity Roots, Little Bushman (to record her own music) & others.
She has performed at Splore Art & Music Festival in 2008 & supported Liam Finn for the Splore Living Lounge in Ponsonby 2009.
Do not miss this wonderful opportunity to see her performing live in an intimate setting!
