A-Sides - Uk - Worldwide Album Release Tour

A-Sides is a pioneer of drum n bass. Hes been producing music since 1990 and has released over 500 tracks to date on the genres biggest labels, such as Metalheadz, Valve, Hospital Records, Ram, True Playaz, Bingo Beats, Innerground and many more.



A-Sides ability to combine soulful vocals with rolling breaks and his trademark heavy bass makes his tracks work extremely well on the dancefloor. As a result, his tracks are regularly played by the top drum n bass DJs in the world, including Andy C, DJ Hype, DJ Marky, Chase & Status, Dillinja, London Elektricity, High Contrast, and Danny Byrd.



He regularly works with Brazilian superstar DJ Marky, as well as Calibre, Randall, and Makoto. He collaborated with vocalist Jenna G for her 2006 solo album For Lost Friends on DJ Zincs Bingo label.



On top of all of that, he and DJ Marky remixed Carl Coxs I Want You in 2008.



While A-Sides is not in the studio he finds time to hold down a busy DJ schedule. He has extensively toured the globe, playing in countries such as Austria, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Belgium, Canada and The United States where he holds a residence at New York Citys Direct Drive.



He is known for his tight mixing skills and technicality as a DJ. Since he is so well-connected with most of the major labels and artists in the industry, he has access to some of the most exclusive, unreleased dubplates available to drop in his DJ sets.

This is apparent in his versatile track selection, combining many different flavours of drum n bass, as well as dubstep.



A-Sides established his own label Eastside Records in 1996 and since then has remained a consistent figure within the drum and bass scene. Eastside now has over 75 releases plus 2 compilation albums (Eastside Jamz Volumes 1 & 2) as well as A-Sides solo album, Follow The Groove.



This is the release party for his latest album Worldwide and also his leaving party before he leaves New Zealand.
