THE UPBEATS

Known collectively as The Upbeats, Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones (a.k.a Terror Snake and Downie Wolf) have been writing epic genre-redefining drum and bass together for eleven years. Full-time DJs and producers since early 2004, the duo perform on a regular basis across the globe (North America, Asia, Europe, Australasia and beyond), run their own recording imprint Non Vogue and have released countless underground hit records on some of the most respected drum and bass labels on the planet (Virus Recordings, Bad Taste, Soul:r). Three classic full-length albums into their career (The Upbeats, Nobody’s Out There and Big Skeleton), at the point where most artists begin to stutter, stumble and fall – The Upbeats only continue to go from strength to strength, constantly changing the international drum and bass game as only they can. 2010 finds in full international touring mode and scheduled to release remixes for New Zealand electronica live acts Shapeshifter and Minuit. Other plans on their 2010 itinerary include new original singles for worldwide release on Virus Recordings and Lifted Music and an EP of Big Skeleton remixes by the likes of Hive, Gridlock, Break on their Non Vogue imprint. The only question left' Are you ready'

TREI

Late 2009 TREi unveiled his debut album INNUENDO, through Samurai Music, quickly following it up with a successful New Zealand tour, his third DJ foray into the European market (Germany, Russia, Greece, Finland, Estonia and the Czech Republic) and the release of a music video for Lead Me On (featuring Thomas Oliver); the first single off INNUENDO. Next up on the video rotate is second single Day Away.

Revealed to glowing acclaim, INNUENDO was particularly favored by TVNZ and The New Zealand Herald, who respectively stated, The only thing holding me back from labeling this the best full length drum and bass release to come out of New Zealand is the need for time to put it into perspective, and, Innuendo does what not a lot of drum n bass has done recently, and thats take you to a higher place and hold you up there.

On the scene side of things, TREi linked deals to release fresh vinyl records in 2010 on respected international d&b record labels, Uprising Records and DJ Markys Innerground Recordings and received extensive DJ support from DJ Hype and Andy C via a stellar collaboration with Kiwi d&b production pioneers Concord Dawn.

Having spent 2009 formalising his blueprint for global success, 2010 is TREi’s year to show the world what he’s really made of - INNUENDO style.
