Come celebrate Record Store Day at The High Seas! Because were a record store. And we like you, heaps.
We will have competitions (well, one), a BBQ, bands playing and sweet specials.
Ghostwave
Ghost Wave will play. You will leave your body, your very spirit frustrated with the limits of its temporary aggregate of particles as Ghost Waves layers the atoms around you into a stairway to the top of awareness.
The Broken Heartbreakers
The Broken Heartbreakers are a ‘folk-pop’ group based in Auckland, New Zealand. The group is based around the song-writing nucleus of John Guy Howell and Rachel Bailey.
Mr. Slackjaw
Mr. Slackjaw is a busy pup, often trading his noisy & trashy garage rock wares in a number of combos at any one time..
But when his colleagues in such ventures find their agendas already mapped out, their schedules filled with work and other daily chores,
he must rely solely upon hisself to satisfy his regular needs to play a gig or three..
Out of such circumstances Mr. Slackjaw was born..
Jordan OJordan
If banjos were balloons, this might be the sound.
Jordan OJordan is a troubadour biochemist, a teller of science-tales, and one-third of Olympia trio Polka Dot Dot Dot. On his second full-length record, Carbon Cycles, he returns with banjos, autoharps, pianos and accordions, oboes, clarinets, and gospel choruses! A wondrous artistic step from Not Style Nor Season Nor Hard-handed Lesson.
For fans of banjo tunes, molecular orbitals, and dreamy romance.
Stefan Neville
VERY rare Stefan Neville (aka Pumice) solo show. Just him and an acoustic guitar. Dont miss.
Golden Axe
Hi, were an Auckland-based keyboard/waveform & saxophone music team. We started playing outside Burger King, and now we do shows in bars and galleries and at parties. - Golden Axe
Come along, grab a sausage and some music!
FREE! (except for the sausages, they might be $1-2)
See you there! Tell your mates!
