The first Friday in New Zealand Music Month (the 7th of May) will see three of Wellington best bands, Mind Vandal, Jonny On The Spot, and Killing Bear put on an energetic show at Bar Medusa (154 Vivian Street), thats not to be missed.
Mind Vandal play a powerful and eclectic brand of modern rock that stands as its own. Their live show is entertaining as hell. Every gig is filmed for uploading onto You Tube, so come and get famous!
Playing along side is the enigmatic Jonny On The Spot. Recently carving good popularity in the Wellington scene for good reason, their live shows are some of the best in town.
Rounding off the line up is Killing Bear, a powerhouse 2-piece hailing from Pukerua Bay. Reminiscent of The Hasslehoff Experiement in places (who, if you remember, were a great Wellington 2-piece in the nineties), they play dirty grinding provocative rock n roll.
Come early to see Vorn do his extremely entertaining act. The only guy we know that can get the roughest of crowds singing with a single accordion. Dontmiss this!
