We thought wed try and do something special for our birthday celebrations, and I think weve achieved it. Two duos of NZ musicians who have rarely if ever played together before and Les Beyond, all the way from Canada!
Stefan Neville (aka Pumice) & Rosy Parlane are two of NZs most well known and well respected experimental musicians/sound artists, so the combination of the two is going to be nothing short of stunning. Dont miss this, as these two are not ones for performing live often, certainly not together.
Les Beyond plays beautiful, haunting songs on a guitar that sounds steeped in the music of Grouper, US Girls, Christina Carter etc. Beautiful stuff and a real treat to be playing at The High Seas.
Peter Wright and Nigel Wright are not related via family. Lets just get that out of the way. Instead they seem to be related by tone, Peters re-imagined abstract audio fields sitting nicely with Nigels immersive sound beds.
