The former frontman with legendary Kiwi blues outfit Chicago Smokeshop, Darren Watson is bringing his red hot blues band to Auckland to celebrate the release of his fourth solo album 'Saint Hilda's Faithless Boy' on Red Rocks Records.
Watson won the International Songwriting Competition blues prize in 2008 and was third last year from over 15,000 entries worldwide. The competition was judged by Tom Waits, James Cotton, John Mayall, and Alligator Records boss Bruce Iglauer.
The band features the cream of Wellington's blues & R&B musicians - you're gonna have a GREAT time!
