From the highlands of West Sumatra comes Sumatran Sounds, a show of percussion, dance and song. This is a rare opportunity to experience the unique music and dance of the Minangkabau people. Come and hear the haunting sounds of the saluang flute, watch the graceful tari piring plate dance and experience randai dance theatre. Sumatran Sounds will show case Minangkabau culture and blend traditional music and dance with innovative new compositions created by leading Minangkabau composers and choreographers
