Sandwiches is very proud to present a brand new bi-monthly club night centralised around one of New Zealand’s finest DJs and producers – TREi

TREi & Friends is a night that will deliver exactly what it says on the tin. Whilst playing at all the right parties across the country and abroad, the bi-monthly night at Sandwiches will be TREi’s opportunity to explore the further reaches of his record collection and test out the limits o...f the dance floor as he is afforded the luxury of a long set, each time setting off on a unique and unpredictable journey.

For each party TREi will also invite some friends to join him on the decks or on the mic, and considering that TREi mixes with the upper echelon of drum and bass in New Zealand, and on the global scene, you are in for more than a few treats and surprises as the series unfolds. Some will be announced, some won’t, some will be invited, and others will just crash the party through the side door.

A night based on music, not hype. A night where creativity is king and the party goes all night long!

For the first in the series TREi welcomes long time collaborator DOSE (Christchurch):

Dose is fast proving himself as not only one of New Zealands leading solo drum & bass artists but one of the rising stars of the drum & bass scene world wide.

Doses productions cover a wide range of the drum & bass spectrum, but the majorities are of high energy which over the years has become doses signature driving sound. Dose’s tunes have been picked up and supported by a wide range of established international artist such as Noisia, Friction, Dieselboy, Andy C, Klute, The Upbeats and many more.

Having deejayed in clubs since the age of 19 Dose has built a solid reputation around NZ & Australia as an experienced and creative club dj and with his relocation to the U.K set for November 2010 this could be your last chance to see him perform for some time in New Zealand.
