Spencer is more widely know as a founding member / guitarist with THE BEASTS OF BOURBON. He has also worked as guitarist sideman to PAUL KELLY, LYDIA LUNCH, ANDRE WILLIAMS, JEFFREY LEE PIERCE'S GUN CLUB, THE SAINTS'CHRIS BAILEY, The LEGENDARY STARDUST COWBOY, SHOTGUN RATIONALE, RENEE GEYER, The SAILORS, The VIOLENT FEMMES and many others, not to mention his own solo-project bands, SPENCER P. JONES & THE ESCAPE COMMITTEE, COW PENALTY and SPENCER P. JONES AND THE LAST GASP.
