It has been 10 long months since Wellingtons own Electric Wire Hustle performed as a full live band in Aotearoa after their NZ farewell in February.
Since then they have celebrated the international release of their album through UK label BBE Records, toured Europe and recently completed their first U.S. tour which saw them premiere at Los Angeles Global Funk and Soul Summit alongside Dam Funks band Master Blazter and continue on to the east coast where they performed at New Yorks CMJ New Music Marathon among many other great performances.
Electric Wire Hustle return as a band and kick off summer in the South Pacific on Friday the 10th of December at the very same place they said goodbye 10 months earlier - the San Francisco Bath House in Wellington.
They will also premiere a short documentary filmed by videographer Vibol Moeung who joined EWH on the road in New York and captured the bands first performances and experiences in New York City.
Celebrating with EWH will be The Jewel School, Stickyfingaz, DJ Ayesha and Lord Jackson.
