...Wellington indie dance/smash ya pants pop act 47 Diamantes are releasing their debut EP on Monday the 17th January for a pay as you like download! To celebrate, 47 Diamantes are happy as to announce a three date New Zealand release tour:

Auckland, Thursday 27th January @ The Golden Dawn: Tavern of Power w/ special party fun time DJs Galore
Wellington, Friday 28th January @ Mighty Mighty w/ Leno Lovecraft (LIVE!) and TV Disko (DJ)
Christchurch, Saturday 29th January @ Goodbye Blue Monday w/ TOMMY ILL!! and Teen Fortress (Zach from Bang Bang Eche!)

47 Diamantes (Gemma Syme on vox, Kelvin Neal on music making duties) have been rocking parties for the last year and decided mid 2010 to settle down and make a banging EP. Ditching Kelvins woeful lo-fi attempts at recording they sought the help of sound man extroardinarre James Goldsmith to help beef out their already beefy mixes. The result is a 6 Track EP designed to be listened to as a whole. Still Friends is just the start of 47 Diamantes recorded output, as they are already well into producing their second EP and will be playing songs from both Still Friends and the newer material (plus some secret mind blowing treats) during the tour.

Known to hold nothing back during live performances, these shows are sure to be the most fun, non pretentious dance filled nights on that particular weekend, if not that entire 7 day calender week.
