Full Moon Fiasco love Auckland. After the past Arch Hill vs. MUZAI show (where the band opened just before The Clean, might we add), seemed a fair number of Auckland love Full Moon Fiasco.
So MUZAI Records and Full Moon Fiasco sat down, thought why not' and immediately decided they should come back before the month was over to headline Whammy Bar while people were still talking about them. All good things, we heard.
Described as having psychedelic garagey vibe providing an instant step back in time, Full Moon Fiascos debut album, Cosmic Palms was well received by a number of media outlets back in 2010 and quickly became one of MUZAI Records critical releases. The hard working band have also embarked on a nationwide tour in support of the album, performed at the Around The Wireless festival and and opened for Die! Die! Die!
Joining them are special guests 1995, who since we last had them for a show have been jet setting around the world, performing at CMJ, the 2011 Big Day Out and the upcoming 95bFM Summer Series. Rounding off the line up are label mates Cat Venom - the fashionistas choice having performed at NO Magazine/Lonely Hearts Halloween party and the Proud Mary club night, supporting Street Chant.
