Bond Street Bridge is where Sam Prebble, mandolin player and guitarist for the Broken Heartbreakers, and fiddle and keys player for the Reb Fountain Band, gets to do what the hell he likes.
Mostly this means songs about birds, with glitchy beats and a fair bit of strings. Also songs about living in the city, beside a motorway. Sometimes songs about the sea, or trains, or just nothing much.
When the songs happen live, which is often, they happen with a surprising amount of cinematic pomp and circumstance. Its easier to tour with a loop pedal than a band, so its mostly done with live guitar and fiddle loops. There is nothing pre-recorded, because that would take all the fun out of it.
Hannah has her own, authentic musical voice. She writes folk-pop with a dark edge, weaving a delicate balance between dulcet pop melodies and something darker and more ambient. An obsession with Burt Bacharach and 60’s style backing vocals is melded with the black poetry of Nick Cave and the eclectic beauty of Kate Bush to produce something entirely unique. Live, her ethereal voice is accompanied by fierce electric guitar, piano, violin, mandolin and drums. In demand as a backing vocalist, Hannah has featured on records by Dimmer, The Checks and Paul Mclaney to name a few. She is currently in the process of writing her third record.

Little Bark is a superhero. She gained her powers from a terrible accident with an exploding mirrorball, and learned to harness them from magical forest creatures in a radioactive wilderness. If you want to party then this ‘strange sylvan creature’ is your friend.
Sophie Burbery’s born persona creates ‘vaporous’, ‘ethereal’ songs that will take you on a journey through ‘rootlessness and transformation’.
