Ever since his departure from Attack Attack!, Austin Carlile has been a person of interest throughout the global music scene. His ear drum destroying scream and brutally honest lyrics made ears perk up all over the world and when it was announced he was working on a new project called Of Mice & Men many were sold on the band before a note was ever recorded. Today, that excitement is still building as this band of screamo misfits makes their way to New Zealand for the first time.
Picking up where Carlile left off in Attack Attack!, but pressing on with the originality that comes with fresh blood and refreshed perspectives, Of Mice & Men fuse the jagged metallic hardcore of their predecessors with searing, rapturous melodies, massively anthemic choruses and a greater focus on the almighty riff. This is music custom-built for both the sweatiest of dance floors and the highest raise of a flaming lighter.
