Newtown Rocksteady are a twelve-piece band with a reputation for sweeping audiences away with their infectious combination of mellow rhythms and upbeat dance tunes inspired by the rocksteady sound of 60’s Jamaica and England. The band recently released their self titled EP packing Happy Bar from wall to wall with their official Release. The Newtown Rocksteady EP features their debut single ‘Good Mood’ and the accompanying B-Side, ‘This Music.’

Farmer Maori and the Maori Farmers are Hope Brothers iconic new reggae act who have become a headline act in their own right playing previous shows with local legends such as King Homeboy, I Am The Light, and Brockaflowersaurus-Rex. They have a distinctive style of reggae, sometimes operatic, described by Farmer Maori as “Just a bunch of farmers smashing hits out for your taringas.
