Gig Information

Craft Savvy Criminal/Claire Hollingsworth (AU) with locals Silke (95bFM) and Sasha Kljakovic

Birthed in Perth, on sojourn in Melbourne, Claire has made a few pit stops in between. Switzerland, where she tied a guitar to a backpack and headed out walking one day. Portugal, where she hung up her boots 3 months later. Cottesloe, where she befriended a rat. Kalgoorlie, where she peered into the collective conscience of the largest man-made hole on earth. And more recently, Fitzroy, where she stumbled upon a dressing table...

With two EPs in the last two years (“Open for Misinterpretation” and “Waiting on Fate”) Claire has serenaded the young, the old and the somewhere inbetweens in Perth, Broome, Darwin, Sydney and Melbourne. She is currently writing songs with students at the School on the Hill in Brunswick, including the as yet unrecorded “Connie the Cow”, “Tappy the Tap Dancing Spider”, and “Who ate my Sandwich!?”

Silke(95bFM)

Silke is best known for learning to play ukulele publicly on 95bFM prime time live radio in front of the whole city. Since then she's been performing around town, has written a good bunch of songs, Tried the whole band thing and has been practising, practising practising.

Currently she plays a song every Thursday around 4pm on 95bFMs Drive show with the very lovely Ursula.

While Silke loves to play covers of her favourite tunes from all decades, live sets offer a chance to present her original songs to the world. Her songs are about love, dreams, smells, dancing, Auckland and sometimes they are about bunnies.

...at about 5am in the morning her and a whole bunch of people sang 99 Luftballons, that was an extremely good... that was one of the best moments in radio, actually!
Painter Karl Maughan to Charlotte Ryan on 95bFM's Morning Glory

Just saw Silke perform, was blown away! She is straight up amazing. Am listening to her EP and it's out of this world. Follow her!

Silke you are the sparkle in an otherwise dull day
Wade Donk

Let me take this opportunity to say that you are a true inspiration for me. My road to become a songwriter is being very difficult, and I feel renewed every time I hear you growing on your songwriting.
