After just releasing their debut E.P. Fuyuko's Fables (Foo-you-ko-s) will play a long set of their tunes new and old to the southern cross arvo show. Joined by the folk-pop-rock goodtimesfunhappytime Neighbourhood Cat (Solo set) to warm up the afternoon. Come recover from your Friday night with some gentle acoustic music and slolwy start your Saturday night. 4pm at the Southern Cross 1st of October There’s something very special about this group – their sound is crisp, gentle and sincere, achieving the perfect balance between reflection and observation. Their songs build upon winding vocal melodies, tensile guitar rhythms and disciplined harmonies, before climaxing on the perfect monumental axis. The relatively new Wellington five-piece are the latest to join a talented line-up of local folk icons, alongside Seth Frightening, Wet Wings and The Body Lyre.
