On the way home from a wildly wonderful European tour, indie-folk-rock-soul-duo Dear Frontier stopped in Jakarta, Indonesia to record their first EP together live at Organic Studios.

Post Capitalist EP is named after the song that the band opened each of their sets with while on tour, playing shows in Italy, Sweden, UK and France: I don wanna be a part of anything to do with taking, from those who have a little less when they could use a little more, more, more, MORE, MORE, MORE!

The EP is available for free, free, free, FREE, FREE, FREE at http://dearfrontier.bandcamp.com/

Dear Frontier will be hunkering down to record their first album with Ryan Prebble (The Nudge, Spartacus R, Fly My Pretties), so come and celebrate the EP and more to come, with support from badass folk star Fraser Ross.

Meet Dear Frontier - Jacob Perkins and Hana Miller - http://www.youtube.com/watchv=E5Gxvc6JiFE

From Eddy Moretti, founder of Vice Magazine, New York - I was racing through the hills above Beirut at night and the kid who was driving was going way too fast. There was a Johnny Cash song playing and then the next song came on and I was like, What the hell is this music this is the best song Ive heard in my life! I asked him who this was. It was this guy Jacob Perkins. I listened to the album when I got back, loved the whole thing, passed it around the Vice office. I discovered the video and thought Id better get in touch. It was a very surreal experience. Three thumbs up.”

From Radar Festival, Padova, Italy - If you are incurable romantics, you will not be able to resist this duo coming from the far away Oceania. The recipe is rather traditional, a boy and a girl armed with acoustic guitars and well-tuned voices intertwine notes and melodies in songs of a disarming honesty and freshness. For once this is music that does justice to the adjective “beautiful”: why waste time talking about it when faced with jewels of this kind

From Woken Bird, Wellington, NZ - Restrained and exuberant, decorative and minimal, wildly stimulating and completely accessible. Listening to Dear Frontier is like attending a gypsy dinner party with Luke Skywalker and Indiana Jones

From Chelsea Jade Metcalf, The Teacups and Watercolours, Auckland, NZ - “With innate chemistry that ricochets between vocal hum, guitar strum and drum slap wafting over their mesmerized audience, Jacob Perkins and Hana Miller are every bit the charm and command of a musical outfit youll want to wear with your best shufflin shoes”
