Rotorua is in for a treat this Halloween, with the official Zombie Walk Halloween after party!
$5 door charge for registered zombie walkers
$10 for everyone else
The Rotorua Zombie Walk is the most unique fundraising event in the country. People dress up and converge on the streets of the citys CBD, shuffling their way through the crowds and shaking their collection buckets for a great cause, our local Brain Injury Organisation! Because seeing zombies have been eating brains all these years, we figured its time they gave back!
This year, the Zombie Walk will feature an after party, and it promises to be a great night including two outstanding live rock bands, as well as a playlist packed with your Halloween party favourites.
Featuring Sonic Altar:
Echoing the ghosts of the classic metal hey-day with a revitalised sound, a unique blend of style and influence, Sonic Altar are a force to be reckoned with. The worship of music, a translation of the band name, is really what it means to be Sonic Altar. With a mission of bringing back the melodic substance to hard rock and being a live act to remember, the band have worked themselves to the bone... since conception. Sonic Altar is here to melt your face.
And Vicioius Minnows:
Vicious Minnows dont just play the rock music you hear in any old pub, they play the songs that they feel; generally harder-edged with a kick ass guitarist, wicked vocals held together strong by their drummer & bass player. These guys play because they want to play, a “bloody good hobby” says vocalist Andrew Martin.
Influences far and wide but you will hear songs from Audioslave, AC/DC, Alice in Chains, Grinspoon, Velvet Revolver, The Cult, Jet, Van Halen and even Black Sabbath to name a few.
As well as a playlist packed full of Halloween favourites, rock and industrial music.
Register for the zombie walk on our official website and make a day of it!
