MAINZ: KICK OUT THE JAMS TOUR – NOV 2011
Summer’s coming so what better way to start it off than with a great night out featuring some new hot kiwi music. The Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) is proud to present the KICK OUT THE JAMS TOUR! KICK OUT THE JAMS TOUR! starts November on Thursday the 10th at Hamilton’s STATIC, touches down at Mt Maunganui’s BREWERS BAR on Friday the 11th and concludes in Auckland’s THE KINGS ARMS on Tuesday the 15th. For all shows admission is free, with an 8PM start. MAINZ is a division of Tai Poutini Polytechnic, an organization with a reputation for quality programmes. At MAINZ both staff and students share a passion for music. Some recent MAINZ graduates are members in popular local acts such as Kids of 88, Gin Wigmore, Naked & Famous, Rhombus, The Checks and Midnight Youth. This year the KICK OUT THE JAMS TOUR! will feature graduates In Contemporary Music performing original Rock, Alt Rock, Funk, Hip Hop and Reggae music. The bands included are Heathen Eyes, Death by Bukkake, Roache, Hit It & Quit It, Strippers & Fighting, Rhinocerros, Eden, Headsong, Lace & Jace, and Ciaran. This will be a fantastic night of up and coming New Zealand music - it’s not to be missed!
