We're doing it again! Jester Underground in association with Jagermeister, have pulled together a couple of stellar rock outfits from around Auckland to cause a little bit of Monday Mayhem.
We'll kick things off early to ensure everyone gets home to bed on time. Starting with a BBQ and some Complimentary Drinks (while stocks last), followed with some rather tasty tunes from the following bands.
Decortica:
2011 has been a busy year for these guys, signing with EMI, touring Japan and Australia and re-releasing the 'Love Hotel' record in stores. With an aim to record album #3 in January 2012, Decortica are well and truly balls to walls writing new material and exploring new sounds.
New Way Home:
2011 has seen these boys working hard to bring their album 'Mirrors' to the world. A 'demo' version the track 'Chrysalis', was released virally winning song of the month on sevensting.org and received a massive 8/10 from a roadrunner records A&R on signmeto.com. This just from a Demo! Expect 'Mirrors' to be one of the biggest 'Alternate / Rock' records of 2012.
Villainy:
What a year it has been for these guys, launching their debut single 'Alligator Skin' in May 2011, landing it on The Rock and watching it climb the charts! Currently sitting at #4 with the video pulling over 7000 views. These guys will do BIG things in 2012.
Here Come The Zombies:
Holy Crap, a 3 piece unit breathing new light into Rock n Roll. 2011 has been a year growing for the Zombies, with their debut single 'Oscar Mike' due any day, Here Come The Zombies and primed and ready to hit the ground running in 2012.
