Anna Coddington and her stellar band return to Wanaka after their sold-out performance at the Festival of Colour in April 2011. This time performing in the beautiful outdoor setting of River House (a private residence opened especially for this event), the audience is invited to bring their own food, wine and picnic blanket, and enjoy a magical South Island summer evening of good music. Anna and band will play a selection of songs from latest album “Cat & Bird”, debut “The Lake” and a special summer cover or two. Playing support will be Mike Hall, frontman for indie-pop/alt-country band Nightchoir, whose tasteful and melodic songs saw them garner critical acclaim for their debut album “24 Hours of Night”. Also just added to the line up is local musician Glenn Hight.
Tucked away at 508 Lake Hawea-Albert Town Highway this promises to be a wonderful experience, so check your map, get down early and secure your spot! For more info phone the venue on 0274581257.
