Gig Information

Thanks to Pikachunes for absolutely killing it last Wednesday, though it was pretty hard to hear his cover of “Somebody That I Use To Know” over the sound of all the bitches swooning.

For your entertainment pleasure this coming Wednesday, we’re very excited to finally be hosting an act we’ve been trying to lock into a set since the first Nark event over a year ago. However a heavy DJ schedule, combined with the frantic jet setting nature of their day jobs, means we’ve never managed to get them down- until now. TNC is proud to present, the one and only, PEOPLE OF PARIS. The combined powers of STOLEN GIRLFRIENDS CLUB’s Marc Moore, and HUFFER’s Steve Dunstan combine to become POP, one hell of a party DJ act. Their sets know no genre constraints, making them a guaranteed crowd pleaser, and a perfect fit with TNC.

Next up we’ve got ladie’s man Mason Feehan AKA MASE. Infamous for delivering DJ mixes smoother than his flowing locks, Mase always brings to the table the perfect mix of bangers, indie dance, disco hits, and classic hip hop.

In his first return to TNC since our move to 1885, we’ve also very happy to welcome back one of the Wednesday night OG’s, one of the few selectors to have been a regular at both Holy Fuck and Nark, SHEAHAN ALL BLACK EVERYTHING. A self confessed hip hop snob, you’ll hear nothing but seminal rap anthems and underground shit (so it’s BYO swag).

Finally, the power’s of DJ JORDAN WILLIAMS and experimental production powerhouse SHANALOG have joined forces to form JOHN MACLANE. This is their debut outing under the new masthead, but if their solo shows are anything to go by you’re in for a hell of a journey, though hip hop, experimental and whatever else the boys are feeling at the time.

Rounding out our headliners, is support from our favourite man trim, hot-in-a-weird-way HAWAIIAN JOE, new club kid OLIVER GIFFORD, and naturally the residents- DANIEL FARLEY, THE LOST BOYS, MAD WORLD and JAKE HOLO (He Only Lives Once). So in summary it’s;

PEOPLE OF PARIS (Huffer/Stolen Girlfriend’s Club)
MASE
SHEAHAN HURI (All Black Everything)
JOHN MACLANE (Shanalog x Jordan Williams)
GIFFORD
HAWAIIAN JOE
DANIEL FARLEY
THE LOST BOYS
MAD WORLD
JAKE HOLO

So obviously it goes without saying this is one not to be missed, with two of the pioneers of NZ Fashion taking the stage to showcase their musical influences and with an all star support line up. If none of that gets you going (you must be dead inside) then it’s still worth coming for our Martini bar hip hop room, and our drink specials, $6 Heineken’s, $8 Patron, $10 Opal Rosso & Vodka. Why pay the same prices elsewhere to drink Speights, Jose Cuervo, and Jager, with shitter entertainment options'
