Forged of the sheer passion for heavy, grooving riffs with laced with melodic vocals and bone crushing drums Osmium have been performing all over the country since mid 2005.
Comprising of Cameron Leslie on guitar & vocals, Doug Heath on bass & William Powell on drums the Invercargill/Dunedin based band have just returned from their third NZ tour in support of their eagerly anticipated second album ‘The Misery Harvest’.
Two years in the making the new album consists of ten tracks of heavy rock & grooving metal with impressive album artwork by Texas artist Vance Kelly [Down, The Sword, Trivium]
In 2011 Osmium were named Southland band of the year at the Southland entertainer awards in Invercargill
Proving the bands diversity they have recently played support to NZ rock gods Shihad & often play alongside NZ death thrash juggernauts Sinate.
