Drop Dead Redhead
Drop Dead Redhead
We're two guitars and drums in a garage rock garden with succulents and cherry blossom and hedgehogs eating queen of the night in the corner.
We include Jessie the Savage Kollen on guitar and vocals, Mark the slut Paton on guitar and vocals, and Danny the Manetto on drummings. Jessie started playing the guitar and writing songs when she was 14 and in more recent times she played in all girl band Public Hair. Mark has been composing music for dancers these last years and was in The Acid Breakers. However, if it was a competition between the three for who’s played in the best bands, Danny’s the winner. He’s been in Electric Blood, Shaft, The Mad Scene, Steam and Voom.
And there you have it.

Goodbye Light
Somewhere, deep beneath the ocean, where sunlight is only heard about in stories, and weird spindly spider things scuttle slowly along the sandy floor, there are sea creatures with eyes so large that they engulf their own faces. Or so we have heard...
Goodbye Light are:
Immi Paterson (guitar)
Darryn Harkness (bass)
Rich Pharaoh (drums)
Whilst Immi and Rich (George and Queen) are known for producing works of 'smarts, maturity, emotional engagement and wry humour punctuated by dark spots' (Graham Reid 2010), Darryn (New Telepathics) is known for his 'demonically charged brilliance with a heady mix of grand and weird (NME 2004).
Frend:
Frend is an Auckland based power trio that recently earned 4 out of 5 rating in the Groove Guide (March 28-April 03) for their debut EP from Matron Records. With members hailing from three different countries, of three different languages, cultures combine for a unique flavor of art punk and indie rock “that creates a vivid and imaginative soundscape for listeners” (Groove Guide 2012). Frend is Patrique Girard (Quebec, Canada) on drums, Ronaldo Lima (Brazil) on the fretless bass and Danny Moffat (USA) on vocals/ electric guitar.
New Natives:
2 women, 2 men.
Spiky indie pop hooks crossed with subtle guitar textures and two-part female harmonies, recalling a cross between Pixies, Blondie and The Smiths"
... Collectively, we've been in 15 other bands in the UK, US and NZ
You've probably never heard of any of them.
That's okay, we still like you.
Kirsty Cooper: lead vocals, guitar
Hamish Scott: guitar
Sian Robertson: bass, harmonies
Doug Dillaman: drums
