Coming together in Dunedin, Ink Mathematics is a band made up of veterans, first-timers and frustrated sociopaths. The band has been playing gigs all over Otago and Southland ranging from shows in their locals to popular music festivals. Their debut EP ‘Boredom, You Conqueror’ was released in September 2011 and now they have returned, renewed with the life of a newly permanent Saxophonist. Legendarily referred to by Made In China frontman, Sam McKean, as his “new favourite band”, they continue to bust out the mind blowing and brain scrambling tunes they are known for.
The truly stunning three-piece that is Cult Disney take all that is beautiful and good about fairy tales and distort the heck out of it. Known for their powers of dark dance, electric pop, riftastic goodness and smooth saucy lyrics, they will knock you out with performances from their recently released EP ‘Post-Industrial Dance Music of the Late Nineteen Eighties’.
