ELECTROLUXXE proudly presents PIGOUT (live) with SUPPORT from HEAT LIKE ME (live), SAMARI and TEACHEAD.

PIG OUT'S throw down performance style and ever mutating set list has seen them shift effortlessly from 4am warehouse parties in Auckland to 4 hour live sets in Berlin, in the process becoming one of the most intense underground dance acts to come out of New Zealand. Formed in NZ in February 2006 by two musicians on sabbatical from London, PIG OUT'S sound mashes every element of 4/4 culture, from hypnotic Chicago acid house and minimal techno to the cold post-disco funk of Factory and 99 records.

In Support is HEAT LIKE ME, Wellington’s new darlings of live Electro. The band play an energetic, synth strong set with pure analogue machines and live vocals reminiscent of the dawning 80’s wave of live electronica. Their influences span across genre’s taking influences from bands such as, Blondie, Chromeo, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Digitalism, Devo, Justice, Kraftwerk and MSTRKRFT to name a few.

Along side these two devastating acts are SAMARI and TECHEAD. SAMARI fresh back from a summer tour of NZ and Melbourne will be playing his unique style of Rock infused driving Electro and TEACHEAD will be laying down his newly produced tunes.

On the visuals is Rex, Luxxe’s long time Visual Maestro and guest Jem the Misfit from Melbourne where she has been holding down a residency at Loop bar, Melbourne’s premier Visual club.
