The CJAM Quartet (a.k.a. The Arthur Street Trio Plus One (2006 ACM charity gigs), or The Christmas Quartet (2007 ACM charity gigs)) features members from the top high school jazz combo in the country in 2005 and 2007. They perform a range of styles of music including jazz, latin, funk/soul and fusion music. Members of the quartet have contributed to the following awards at the National Youth Jazz Festival between 2005 and 2007:

After the gig at The Gables Tavern in Herne Bay on Monday 10 December, The CJAM Quartet was offered a regular gig. The band will be playing at The Gables in Herne Bay every second Monday of each month this year.
The first gig is on Monday 11 February '08 and will feature saxophonist Alex Churchill. Alex an Auckland based saxophonist who currently appears as lead tenor sax in the Queen City Big Band and has had the oportunity to perform with artists such as Nathan Haines (NZ), Hollie Smith (NZ), and Jon Papenbrooke (US). Alex has also appeared in the National High Schools' Jazz Orchestra and won the trophy for Most Promising Saxophonist at the Manawatu Youth Jazz Competition in 2007.
