Drawing upon the ethics of Lollapalooza, Here�s To Future Days (and we feel like it�s spiritual Auckland sequel) and the roaming punk festivals of the United States, The Alex Manford Invitational is a juggernaut of 12 bands across two venues in Auckland.
Featuring the likes of Battle Circus, The Bengal Lights, This City Sunrise and Kittyhawk but to name a few, each band selected is a representation of their scene. Each band selected have at some point or another been glanced over in the music scene.
More importantly, each band bring principles and workhorse ethics believing that the music scene should be brought together rather than split apart. Everyone involved, from bands to technicians through to volunteers are all pulling together in a communal function . . . something that is missing in the music scene at times.
Come along May 30th and support the cause. With street entertainment, merchandise from the bands and what is promised to be a hell of a night, The Alex Manford Invitational extends it�s invite to you.
