GhOstyHead is a lyrical dub funk six-piece band from Auckland.
After Recently rocking the crowd at Splore, with their tight rootsy funk and dub combination, they now have their first set of Auckland gigs in sight.
Though their music and stage performance is
polished, they have an air of tongue and cheek
about them, and dont take
themselves too seriously.

Sally Stockwell: fronts the band with her daring,sassy
and refined vocals. Her theatrical background also
makes for a performance not to missed.
John Ellis: (Mamaku Project/Jews Bros/Tyra &Tornado`s)
provides superb Saxophone and percussion,
while holding down Keyboards. John aka
M.C. White Toast throws down a few raps keeping it
Honest.
Ben Stockwell: (Verve/Tanzen Jungle/The Triffids) spits out
thundering funk bass and
infectious grooves also providing acoustic
guitar and percussion.
Craid Denham:(Ardijah/Ronnie Taylor Band/Mamaku
project) weaves outstanding
keyboards throughout, while adding latin and blues
flavours to boot.
Mike Tan: (Rodger Fox /Navy band) lays down the time
with military precision
and the ultimate of feels.
Steven Bayliss: (the Managers) on guitars breaks
out mind blowing solos and dynamic 6 string grooves.
GhOstyHead swear by blood oath to deliver nothing
but an exquisite musical experience that will
shake your bones and unhinge
