Folk at the Old Folks returns in 2016 with a stunning Winter Series line-up featuring some of the best folk artists from around the country!
Our second show of the year will feature two killer acts:
The Miltones are a five piece blues band from West Auckland and will offer an upbeat, and more rocky conclusion to the night than most Folk at the Old Folks. We are very excited to have them, having just opened for Mick Fleetwood himself, they are rising stars.
Frank Burkitt hails from Scotland but has made himself a home in Wellington. He formed a band around himself and for this trip he brings bassist James Geluk with him to perform new songs, old songs, cover songs as well as tell hilarious stories. He knows how to make you laugh, all the while keeping you entertained with sing-a-longs and hooks within contemporary folk songs.
We will bring you all the things you loved about us last time, mulled wine, cookies, tea and coffee only we are offering full concerts that will begin shortly after 8pm doors.
Pre-book for $15. It will be $20 on the door and we have limited tickets available.
