In anticipation of Fur Patrols third long player, Local Kid, the
Melbourne based three-piece will be back across the Tasman to play a
select few shows in support of the stunning new record. Released on
September 22nd and featuring the singles Great Leap Forward and Hidden Agenda, this is Fur Patrol's strongest record yet. So make
sure you catch their powerful and memorable live show...

Throughout their 10 year career they have to date released 2 full length
albums, 1999s PET and 2003s COLLIDER, and 2 EPs - on 3 different
record labels; two major labels and one fledgling independent. They've
spent roughly half of their career based in New Zealand and the other
half in Australia. They've toured throughout the UK and America, shot a
music video in Hollywood, received awards and toured Australia and New
Zealand more times than most people have had hot dinners. They've had a
number 1 single and a platinum selling album. They were a 4 piece and
now they're a 3 piece. Now they have a bunch of amazing new songs to
play us, mixed in with the old favourites.
