Award-winning New York mixologist, Sother Teague, will be mixing drinks and sharing insights on the art of the cocktail at boutique Ponsonby speakeasy, Ante Social.
Sother was hailed as Mixologist of the Year in 2018 by Wine Enthusiast, is the creative force behind some of New York’s finest bars, a co-host of The Speakeasy on Heritage Radio Network and has been featured as a cocktail expert in Esquire, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out and BuzzFeed.
In 2018 he launched his first book 'I'm just here for the drinks'.
The evening includes a four course cocktail menu, appetizers matched by Nathan Houpapa, Executive Chef, Comensa Group (Cafe Hanoi, Saan, Xuxu Dumpling Bar) and vinyl playing inspired by Sother's home town of New York.
An Evening with Sother Teague is part of Eat Drink Love Ponsonby and Elemental AKL19.
