The low down on the artists:

Tami Neilson
Born and raised in Canada to a musical family. At the tender age of twelve, Tami toured with her parents and siblings throughout the country performing in concerts at Country Music Halls, sharing the stage with the likes of Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Within a year of being in New Zealand, Tami had performed at the Parachute Music Festival, toured with her own music and with the likes of NZs Brendan Dugan. She is about to release her second album The Kitchen Table Sessions.

Gerry Rooderkerk
Shes passionate about words, so its safe to say that dance music hasnt been a huge influence on her song writing, just about everything else has though. Preferring to play bass for the last 12 years, as she did in her first originals band Peepshow, Gerry is now performing her songs on guitar, and a love out of necessity is being born. This reignited flame has been lighting the way to a whole new bunch of songs, styles and chords she never knew existed (some of them probably dont). Asked to sum up her music Gerry says: Im a girl who plays guitar and doesnt mumble when she sings, its not as easy as you might think.

Kiri Eriwata
WIth her song Get Back Home a regular feature on Kiwi FM and her new track Why Wont You sitting at no.7 on Amplifiers chart, Kiri would like to invite you to listen to some fresh tracks before recording an EP due for release in Mays Music Month. Youll find her music a mixture of pop/folk with hooky melodies.
