Dreamt up on the Pacific Highway of Mexico, Mini Simmons is an NZ-based Blues-Rock' n'Roll band. A loose nod to the '60s and the stomping swing of the wild '70s, with groove-oriented bell-bottom flare. It's like dissolving a handful of tabs in a bottle of bourbon and watching a small child polish the lot. You have to see it to believe it.

Within their relatively short life, Mini Simmons has amassed a loud and loyal fan base around New Zealand thanks to their solid touring schedule, effervescent energy, 70's inspired rock swagger and searing dress sense. What started as campfire sing-a-longs between three friends on a surfing pilgrimage to Mexico, Mini Simmons was born upon return to Aotearoa. Their self-titled debut album was the first vinyl record to be pressed in New Zealand in over 30 years and completely sold out within one week! They have graced the festival stages at Splore, Rhythm & Vines and Soundsplash all the while enlisting new fans along the way. Never ones to rest on their laurels, the band has continually toured around NZ since the debut album release and honed their songwriting craft in the studio, releasing a new single, Travelling Show in July.
