Goodnight Nurse’s MySpace page is the most prolific in the country, with over one million views and over two million song plays to date.
Goodnight Nurse won the 2007 MTV Australia Video Music Award for NZ Viewers Choice. This sits proudly alongside their Juice TV Best Breakthrough Video and Best Rock Video Awards.
Their website won the Hitwise Online Performance Award in 2006 for the most visited Band/Artist website in NZ.
Goodnight Nurse have supported Fall Out Boy, Story Of The Year, and the Living End amongst others, and have played hundreds of shows across New Zealand and Australia.
Streetwise Scarlet
After a busy year in 2008 Streetwise Scarlet are back to blow minds in 09. After a hand full of tours and the release of their debut album last year 2009 sees the release of a 6th single 'Fall Forever'.
If you haven't been to see Streetwise live then make sure you do this year. If you didn’t get the chance to see the boys play the sold out Vodafone Homegrown fest then this is a prime opportunity to witness the energy and hilarity of this band live. Keep your eye out for new material later in the year as the gang knuckles down to churn out some more delicious pop & roll hits.
False Start
False Start have become one of the hardest working bands in New Zealand, releasing their first single 'Don't Walk Away' plus the debut, 'Goodbye Summer E.P. As well as sharing stages with international acts: Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Funeral For A Friend, Story Of The Year, The Used, Aiden, Rise Against and more.
Mums Dollar
They are based in South Auckland and have been playing together for over 6 years. During that time Mumsdollar have toured the USA, Australia and New Zealand, and have independently released four CDs and two music videos. Their first recording, For Christ's Sake, came out in 2001, followed by Eastern Time in 2002. After numerous re-runs, and a re-release of Eastern Time in 2004, both recordings have completely sold out. Early in 2005 Mumsdollar released their A Beautiful Life EP, followed later that year with a full-length album version of the same title. Predictably, both releases have sold well thanks to their extensive fan base, built up through consistent live performances.
With Hope
Pop prodigies With Hope are the hot new band on the block. Their fresh blend of catchy pop hooks and high-energy groove has seen the band quickly become one of the most talked about bands in the pop punk scene.
Diesel Phoenix
Having recently toured a sell out tour across New Zealand, Diesel Phoenix is in top shape to play this show. Diesel Phoenix has build a huge following in a very short time and their fan base is only growing. Diesel Phoenix blend anthem rock with slick pop vocals to create a new and innovative sound.
CanTeen
This show has been put together by Transmission Room Ltd to raise awareness about CanTeen and the brilliant work that they do for youth cancer patients and their friends and family. Donation boxes and CanTeen bandanas will be available at the venue – please give generously.
