With almost a decade on the road behind them, you’d think The Datsuns would begin to show signs of slowing down. No way.

The Datsuns stormed in the New Year in Gisborne at this year’s Rhythm & Vines festival, played the main stage at the Big Day Out and have recently completed another successful European jaunt. In April Dolf, Phil, Christian and Ben will return to New Zealand for a string of domestic dates (their first in over a year!) that extend from Leigh to Invercargill.

“It feels, to us, like we’re just getting started in a strange way because we’ve just found out who we are and what we like to do,” explains Christian.

What The Datsuns like to do is play their incendiary brand of rock & roll to as many of their fans as possible.

“So Long”, the second single from their much-lauded fourth album, “Headstunts”, has just been released on iTunes along with a previously unreleased “B” side. It’s two minutes of unrelenting, uncompromising rock.

The Datsuns will be joined by An Emerald City (Leigh, Auckland, Raglan, Hamilton & Dunedin) and The Randoms as they take New Zealand by storm this April.
