Francisca Griffin is perhaps best known for her bass playing, with a little guitar and vocals thrown in with Look Blue Go Purple, which formed in 1983 and released 3 EPs on Flying Nun Records. Francisca went on to play in Cyclops (2 singles and a CD album), and released her first solo work Some From the Sky on CD in 1998. Since 2012 Francisca has been playing live, and honing her unique sound. She now plays both solo, and with her band, the Bus Shelter Boys.
She released ‘the spaces between’ on vinyl and CD through CocoMuse Releases in January 2019.
This Sunday at The Wine Cellar, she'll be playing solo.
Sandra Bell is an Indie musician, she has released music in the USA, Belgium, France, Italy and NZ. She began as a performance poet and singer/songwriter. Her music is noisy and direct, sometimes lamenting , sometimes confronting.
She currently lives in Auckland New Zealand, and is yearning to revisit Romania, where she left a small suitcase, when she performed there in 2019.
Somme - We play loud, droney, heavy stuff.
