Wurld Series play their first show in Tāmaki Makaurau in over three years in celebration of their album, ‘What’s Growing’, which was released in March.
The Christchurch band’s surreal and expansive sophomore effort has garnered high praise internationally. Bandcamp Daily labelled What’s Growing an ‘Essential Release’ of 2021 and the album was the subject of a glowing review on Pitchfork, who proclaimed that ‘The New Zealand indie rock band’s thoughtful, witty, and brief songs pit surrealism against the malaise of workaday life.’
Wurld Series will be joined by recent tour buddies and label mates Zero Cool from Pōneke, plus an opening set from local indie poppers Wellness. PGX will also be performing on the night making this show somewhat of an informal Melted Ice Cream showcase.
Tickets available via Under The Radar.
