Real Groovy proudly presents Record Store Day 2009.
Now in its second year, Record Store Day celebrates the importance of independently owned record stores, with thousands of stores participating worldwide.
Real Groovy has been New Zealand’s epicentre for good music since it opened its doors in 1981, and it’s still hanging tough. All stores will be partying come this Saturday.
There will be free live performances throughout the day, loads of sweet prizes from Levis, Converse, and a SX Vintage White Strat copy from SX Guitars. More free-ness continues with undercover parking, Real Groovy Club membership, and one-off Jeans trade-in deals.
This year’s line-up includes Anna Coddington, Tourettes, the Benka Boradovsky Bordello Band, the Tutts, Dictaphone Blues, and Wellington’s Harbour City Electric.
