Two cities connect - from the South Island to the North, brought together by one common love: hip hop.
Christchurch MCs Yung Ludd and Local Elements are bringing their music to the big city! Come along to Whammy Bar for a night celebrating all things Aotearoa hip hop. Joined by the unique voices of Auckland-based rappers Chris RL and Cix50, and with mix wizard Jay Knight on the decks, this is sure to be a show stacked full of good music.
We have some special guests including young talent from the Te Karanga Trust “Navigators” writing workshops, a beautiful community initiative encouraging the youth to get together and find their musical voice. Yung Ludd spent some time there while living in Auckland and it was instrumental in his growth as an artist.
