PERFORMER BIOGRAPHY
Camila De Oliveira
The Brazilian pianist Camila De Oliveira began her musical studies at the age of 6. She completed her bachelor's degree in piano performance after attending the Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado, Brazil. In 2019 Camila received her postgraduate diploma in Music with a specialisation in piano performance at the University of Auckland under Dr Rae de Lisle, and in 2021 she received her Master's degree with first-class honours in Piano Performance also at the University of Auckland. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Auckland with a research focus on assessing the playability of virtuoso piano repertoire using an ergonomically scaled piano keyboard.
Camila won many prizes in piano competitions, such as the 20th ArtLivre Piano Competition, 8th Piano Competition Maestro Rodrigo Tavares, 24th Paulo Giovanini Piano Competition, 7th National Piano Competition Maestro Spartaco Rossi, 1st Piracicaba International Piano Concerto Competition. In 2020 she not only was the recipient of the Ada Kathleen and Barbara Ellen Watson Scholarship, but she also won the Llewelyn Jones Prize in Music for Piano at the University of Auckland for the second consecutive year.
She has played with many orchestras, such as the Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo, Bachiana SESI-SP Foundation Orchestra, São Pedro Theatro Orchestra, and Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
For four years, Camila was the principal pianist of the Academic Choir of the OSESP, Symphonic Orchestra of São Paulo State.
Camila has maintained an intense career as a collaborative pianist and piano teacher.

JOHNNY CHANG
Composer-performer Johnny Chang engages in extended explorations surrounding the relationships of sound/listening and the in-between areas of improvisation, composition and performance.

Johnny has been a part of the Wandelweiser composers collective since 2012 and in 2018, initiated a new framework for the presentation of creative research and performances, Partitions & Resonances, aimed at encouraging new and ongoing collaborations between the varied disciplines of composition, musicology, historical research and performance. He currently collaborates with: Antoine Beuger, Samuel Dunscombe, Catherine Lamb, Klaus Lang, Mike Majkowski, Phill Niblock, Derek Shirley, Germaine Sijstermans, Taku Sugimoto, Eric Wong.

As composer and performer, his articulated performances have been featured in: Staatsoper/ OperaLab//DAAD Mikromusik/MaerzMusik (Berlin), Donaueschingen Musiktage, DNK Days/Sonic Acts Festival/Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Gaudeamus (Utrecht), Insub.Festival/cave12 (Geneva), Cafe OTO (London), Moment Musicaux (Aarau), Dampfzentrale (Bern), Q-O2 workspace (Brussels), Wandelweiser Klangraum (Düsseldorf), Klang im Turm (Munich), Minimal Jukebox (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Pardon To Tu (Warsaw), Umlaut Festival (Berlin & Paris), Audio Foundation (NZ) to various music series/venues in Berlin such as Staatsoper unter den Linden, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, KINDL Centre for contemporary art, ausland, Labor Sonor, Sophiensaele, KM28.
