Through a mix of styles ranging from RnB, synth-pop, funk and spoken word, Aotearoa-Korean duo Imugi 이무기 explores the identities and issues faced by migrant women of colour.
Huia kicks off this event with electronic beats, organic percussion, live guitars and deep harmonies. Don’t miss her set – it’s richly layered in big bass sound with lyrics in te reo Māori and English.
Speech Act Theory is a high-energy five-piece live band with live drums, guitars and powerhouse vocals – creating something truly alternative.
