This nostalgic R&B track takes you back to your first heart break - “The three of us sat down in Mazbou Q’s studio and worked to bring this intimate page of my diary to life and I hope you can find parts of yourself in this song”

TSENATE is an artist/producer whose heart belongs to the golden era of R&B. Her music takes you back to the early 2000s, right back to your first heartbreak. Through her music, she is able to reflect on her life as a young black girl raised by Ethiopian parents in Aotearoa (New Zealand).
TSENATE takes inspiration from an all-star line up of alternative R&B artists such as Steve Lacy, H.E.R, SZA, Cleo Soul to name a few. Not only is TSENATE passionate about singing, but also aspires to continue working in the film and theater industries, where she feels at home on the stage. Tsenate debuted with her single 4 the ride in 2021, and in 2022, she released her second single, no1 else feels like home. 2023 will see her release her third single and music video, SUPERSTAR.
