If you come to UNDERGROUND at 7:30 pm this thursday...
You might find out a thing or two about funky wavy destructive beats in auckland city.
After being squeezed through the small intestine of a busy first thurday k road, you cannot be blamed for wanting to settle into the Underground as it will be cosy and intimate, forming the home base of operations for a couple of mystifying musical voyages beginning at 8pm. This starts with The Wine Brothers, a trio guided melodically by big brother, Lucas Kewell of the Keys. Vibes can be expected to be beautiful, robust and enchanting. The second half of the evening will surely be fragmented, noisy, driving and thoughtful as the controversial Grusbel group takes up the mantel and channels the spirits of funk, monk and much much more.
