SKATE OF EMERGENCY!

Short skirts, athleticism and roller skates – Wellington’s first derby season is rolling in around the corner.

Richter City Roller Derby is proud to present its first full competitive season, kicking off with Skate of Emergency on the 19th of September.

Don’t miss the thrills and spills of this nail biting battle between the backside kicking beauty queens, Brutal Pageant, and their ruthless leopard print rivals, Smash Malice.

Roller derby is a full contact sport on roller skates. The game is scored on a points basis, with the skaters racing in teams around the track. Mixing fast play, hard contact and striking uniforms, this all women’s sport is not for the faint-hearted!

Richter City’s first bout in March sold out so don’t miss out! Richter City have been training harder than ever and have welcomed some great new Freshmeat talent into both teams.
